Dr. Ahn, MD, FACS, is a board-certified surgeon specializing in vein and pain management.
Dr. Jiyong Ahn specializes in the evaluation and treatment of:
- Pelvic Venous Disease / Pelvic Congestion Syndrome (PCS): Enlarged or refluxing pelvic and ovarian veins that may contribute to pelvic pressure, heaviness, and chronic pain.
- May-Thurner Syndrome: Compression of the left common iliac vein, which may contribute to pelvic pain, leg swelling, and discomfort.
- Nutcracker Syndrome: Compression of the left renal vein, which may cause flank pain, pelvic congestion, and blood in the urine.
